Many people who attended our last meeting expressed interest in helping lead committees to help shape programming, events and outreach for NAHJ Bay Area members throughout the year. Here are the new committees forming:

Academic Committee

Chair: Jeremy Sanchez Rue

This committee will strengthen connections between journalism schools and newsrooms by tracking changes in journalism education, identifying training opportunities, and building partnerships with educators across the Bay Area.

Help recruit new members from the surrounding 9 Bay Area counties to our local chapter. Be part of a team that also finds fun and inviting ways to increase engagement of current members throughout the year.
