NAHJ Bay Area Chapter elections are here! This is your opportunity to join the chapter board, bring new ideas to the chapter and help shape what comes next — and perhaps even help us win the famous NAHJ Chapter Cup.

The chapter will begin accepting nominations Monday, September 21, for the following positions:

• President
• Vice President
• Financial Officer
• Secretary
• At-Large Officer

You can find descriptions of each position in the Chapter Handbook (bottom of page 7).

Interested? Here’s what you need to be eligible for the ballot:

• Be a member in good standing as of September 21, 2026, with dues up to date. Need to renew? Visit the NAHJ Membership Portal.
• Collect 5 unique nominations from chapter members in good standing.
• Regular, Retired and Academic members may nominate and vote for all positions.
• Associate members may run, nominate and vote for the At-Large position only.
